Father Barry is our mission priest, Fr Barry started his ministry life after being elected as pastor of St Christopher`s Community Church way back in 2000, during his time as pastor of St Christopher`s the church voted to join the Liberal Catholic Apostolic Church (Which later became Old Catholic Apostolic Church) which meant Fr Barry being ordained as a deacon and then priest in apostolic succession hence becoming an independent catholic priest. Fr Barry has a passion in take the church to the people and not waiting for the people to come to church. In his spare time, he produces videos and is the webmaster for not only our website but that of the Progressive Catholic Church.

In 2012 Fr Barry left the OCAC and became affiliated with another small catholic church in which he was consecrated as a Bishop. In 2019 he joined the Progressive Catholic Church after the previous church closed its doors. While he serves as our mission priest Fr Barry is also the Bishop for the Province of Europe for the Progressive Catholic Church, he was until the 30th of September 2022  the Presiding Bishop of the Progressive Catholic Church.

Julie and Garry Urien, are both Worksop born but now live in the Rotherham area of South Yorkshire. They have 2 cats and a dog, Julie has 5 children while Gary has 4 and together they have 15 grandchildren.

In their spare time, Julie loves crafting, Bingo, and metal-detecting, while Garry is a gamer, both love to holiday in Skegness.

Julie whist serving on the admin team for Christ the Good Shepherd, she also helps Fr Barry in keeping the province paperwork up-to-date.
