Christ the Good Shepherd Church was established on Easter Sunday 2022, continuing the work of the Our Lady of Walsingham Mission, which served the community for seven years.

Based in Carlton in Lindrick, we are a welcoming Christian community rooted in the Catholic tradition. While we serve locally, we also reach people around the world through our Sunday Mass livestream on YouTube and through our website.

We are an Independent Old Catholic Church, meaning we share the historic Catholic faith and sacramental life but are not part of the Roman Catholic Church.

Our ministry is led by ordained clergy who stand in the historic apostolic succession the continuity of Christian ministry handed down from the earliest Church through Catholic, Anglican, and Orthodox traditions.

We seek to share the love of Christ, offer reverent worship, and provide a spiritual home for all who are searching for faith, community, and hope.
