We are an Inclusive Catholic church in God`s own county of Yorkshire. Our mission is to welcome all people, share the beauty of being Catholic, of being inclusive, and to bring Christ`s love to people`s lives.

Christ the Good Shepherd was launched on Easter Sunday 2022 after formerly being known as Our Lady of Walsingham Mission for 7 years. We are an affirming, independent, catholic community.

We come from all walks of life, We are married, single, LGBTQ+, partnered, and widowed.  We are racially, politically, and ethnically diverse.  But we are one body in Jesus Christ and unified by the Holy Eucharist.   

We don't just live the Gospel. We grow together, seek Christ together, and strive to fully engage in the life of the Church and our global family which is the Progressive Catholic Church. Our church is not confined to buildings we bring the church to you!; our church is in the hearts of the faithful and fully alive!
